ATLANTA – April 15, 2010 – infinitee Communications Inc., a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Atlanta, has received certification as a business owned and controlled by women by the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC). The certification process is designed to provide an increased ability of women business owners to compete for corporate and government contracts at a national level.
“This certification provides a marketing opportunity for women-owned enterprises to participate in outreach programs and develop relationships with larger companies,” said Jocelyn Smith – principal, infinitee. “We look forward to creating future partnerships with more public and private sectors.”
NWBOC, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit corporation was created in response to needs identified by the Procurement Special Interest Group of the National Association of Women Business Owners. The study revealed that the public and private sectors had not received nor recognized the benefits of contracting with women suppliers. As a result, this has limited women business owners from penetrating vital markets and growing their business. NWBOC seeks to provide corporations with the opportunity to better their procurement practices and offer women suppliers the opportunity to compete.
