Axis at Ansel is a $35M market-driven, multifamily project currently being developed in Cleveland, Ohio by Signet, LLC. – primarily targeting the doctorate student, and administrative and healthcare professional audiences from the adjacent Case Western Reserve University and renowned Cleveland Clinic.

When Signet approached our team about the project, the name and logo for the development were already underway. However, they wanted a fresh perspective on the project and asked our team for help supporting the internal marketing department’s vision for the final brand identity. We were up for the challenge and worked collaboratively with the marketing department to help elevate the brand identity in a way which would both appeal to and resonate with the more professional demographics being targeted for the modern studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartment homes.

Establishing a strong and impactful brand that would stand out in the rapidly growing Cleveland market was critical. Visual identity and positioning for Axis at Ansel was re-envisioned to allow the brand to resonate with the target demographic, as well as speak to the primary benefit of the property’s location for a balanced work/home/social lifestyle – a highly desired quality by the target audience when exploring residential housing options. 

Consideration was given to all the various marketing materials needed for the launch of the brand and, through this process, we developed a logo hierarchy structure that would ensure the best possible legibility regardless of execution.

 

 

every detail perfectly planned

The new brand identity was applied to every aspect of the residential tenant experience. Leveraging the newly defined dramatic colors, textures and patterns of the brand, stationary items were developed to reinforce the level of detail potential residents could expect throughout their time at Axis at Ansel.

 

pre-leasing tools aimed at success

Leveraging the key benefits of the property, leasing collateral – including a brochure, marketing suite graphics and large-scale environmental graphics – was developed to help bring the project to market and support pre-leasing. The brochure was developed with the ease and efficiencies of the future updates in mind – providing a cost effective solution for the in-house marketing team.

With pre-leasing efforts kicking off immediately after the launch of the brand, a temporary splash page with key project details and data capture functionality was launched. The splash page was designed so that all programming efforts could be easily adapted for the full website (which also launched earlier this year) – providing a seamless and positive UX with efficiences in programming and design.

A 6-month digital campaign aimed at geo-specific zips and with retargeting tactics was also implemented to generate increased awareness and exposure for Axis at Ansel. The development is scheduled to open in August 2020!
