For 23 years, we have helped Tanger Outlets grow their brand image as they have expanded their portfolio throughout the US and Canada. To support this continued growth and evolution of the brand, we’ve continued to concept and develop campaign content that is fresh and relevant. Our 2019 campaign called for something bigger, something more connective and personal. We needed a new perspective that would speak directly to the unique shopping experience Tanger Outlets provides.

happy happens here

The “Happy Happens Here” campaign was developed to capture the delight, joy and satisfaction inherent to a trip to Tanger Outlets. Imagine shopping ALL your favorite brands in one place, saving big on your favorite designer brands, and leaving Tanger Outlets happy! No two-day shipping. No returns. No let-downs because the product didn’t live up to the online description. Yes, please!

The campaign was brought to life with a lot of creative planning and a new resource, New York based photographer, Thomas Neal, known for his work with J.Crew. Through this next-level photography, a broad talent base of 8 models, dynamic wardrobe styling, and a top-notch video production team, Chorus Films, the evolved look and feel became a reality, and we were able to capture those “happy” shopping moments.

home with

TangerStyle is a wildly successful direct mail program for Tanger Outlets and is produced every Spring, Fall and Holiday to correspond with peak shopping seasons. With the new campaign in place, infinitee worked with Tanger to elevate the piece to a 24-page magazine and a 10-page guide. Also included are trackable, redeemable coupons for the designated shopping period.

The 6-week Spring print and digital campaign resulted in 3 million web sessions, 7.3 million page views and reached 100K Instagram followers – generating $46 million in sales over the spring sales period. Not bad for a day’s work (on-set)!

engaging through

Accounting for all facets of digital engagement with Tanger Outlets’ shoppers, the campaign assets reached followers on all social platforms with connective messaging, posts, topics and images all promoting the “Happy Happens Here” messaging.

Video takeovers were implemented on the website homepage and a weekly trends page was implemented to showcase the great brands and array of retailer product.
